Sylvia Macdonald Merrill, a graduate of the class of 1936, was one of the original group of students to attend Springfield High School in its inaugural years. A very gifted concert pianist and vocalist, she wrote the music and lyrics to the SHS alma mater while still a student. Sylvia sat down with SETV in July to discuss her time at Springfield.
